Great vacuum

The vacuum is easy to use and cleans very well. I love how lightweight it is and the ease of going from carpet to bare floors. So far very impressed. My only complaint is I had to cancel my first order still waiting for the reimbursement. The first one was "misplaced" within the UPS system for 2 weeks and there was no communication from anyone. After many calls and messages I finally received a vacuum. other than the frustration from the shipping aspect I would recommend this great little machine.

I initially thought this vacuum felt a little junkie. I boxed it back up and was going to bring it back but decided to give it a try. I was very happy I did. It vacuumed really nicely and moved around really slick and the vacuums light weight is what I ended up liking even though I thought it was lacking. I think it's gonna be great.

I totally love this vacuum!!

We have two long coated German Shepherds and 2 med coat cats and 1 short hair cat and with this many animals their hair gets caught in our carpet. We have gone thru so many vacuums even had a couple that were dedicated for pets but they never last nor do they pick up all the hair after a month. While we do have to empty it more since the canister is on the smaller scale it still picks up all the hair from the carpet. Emptying it is a breeze. What we really like about this vacuum is that you can adjust the strength of suction with a simple press of the button that is on the handle. There is also a button on the canister itself that we can tap with our feet to adjust the strength of the suction. We don't have to shut off the vacuum and turn the nob. Even after picking up all the hair we didn't have to worry about the hair being wrapped around the rotating bristle. Even the filter is washable which we really like. After using just a press of the cord button will roll the cord right up so you dont' have to deal with rolling it up. I highly recommend this vacuum for anyone and everyone that has pets.

Vacuum was very high quality put together well and you could tell somebody really put thought into the design. I'm very excited to have a vacuum canister design from shark. I thought I would be stuck with Kirby's forever. I would highly recommend this unit. Also it is very quiet and the suction is perfect... Strong. The only thing semi-negative I could say about it is it is cumbersome to store it's big and bulky but super quiet.

Powerful and versatile

I love this vacuum! I've never owned a canister vacuum before and this makes me feel like I've been vacuuming wrong all these years. I have wool areas rugs, one is thick shag, tile, wood, and linoleum flooring. It does a beautiful job on all of them. It's so quickly shifts to a powerful stair vac, too. A click of a button and I can get under the ottoman, buffet, dressers, and bed and store it in a small place under shelves in a closet!

so far so good!

So far so good! It's awesome that there are functioning buttons on the handled wand. The cord is a little short but I do appreciate that it coils back into the vacuum with a button. I'll be keeping an extension cord with this so that I can clean through the office easily. I'll update this as we have it in the future as we've only had it a week

Quiet and powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never tried this type of vacuum before but man does it get the job done. I mean there is nothing it can't do and it's perfect for everyday cleaning to detail work and I would even recommend it if you clean houses for a living. I was extremely impressed with how quiet this vacuum is along with the longer cord and that it automatically winds up and that saves me a step and time. I couldn't hold my excitement so I literally went ahead and vacuumed my entire downstairs while my husband was upstairs sleeping. He had to be up early for work the next day and he didn't hear a thing. That never happens and this is a game changer. Now to why I love this vacuum so much. Upstairs in one of my bedrooms I had to repatch and sand a wall. I was careful not to get it everywhere and I was able to get right up to the baseboard and clean it with one swipe and detach the hose to get the rest. I was done in under a minute. I can literally do everything right from the handle to turning it on/off and changing the suction. I can roll or carry the canister which is helpful when cleaning my stairs. The cord is actually long enough that I didn't have to keep plugging into different outlets. I can finally clean under my bed with the longer handle and hose which by the way snaps into place when storing. I can even spot clean one area or unsnap to get the longer hose to complete each room. Best of all I was able to get all the animal hair up throughout my entire house without needing to empty it once. I absolutely love this vacuum and have already recommended it to my family and friends! Excellent quality along with durability and super quiet!

Excellent Performance!

I cleaned my carpets and enjoyed the experience and powerful suction. This amazing Shark Vacuum goes in to the small spaces and picks up dirt brilliantly. I love the added light as it makes for easier cleaning. Putting it together was also a breeze and it comes with full instructions. The only thing I would change is for the head to maneuver more easily through small spaces but other than that, it is brilliantly made. I highly recommend for performance, durability and effective cleaning power.

quiet comes at a cost

BUYER BEWARE: This item claims to be returnable but that is not the case. I had to escalate this issue with Walmart for 30 minutes. 3rd Party Seller Beware. I've only had this item for a few days in the box in my house. this is one of the quieter vacuums which is a pro. the con is that its not a powerful suction so it wont suck up the stuff along your baseboards with the main floor brush.

good suction, cheap materials

I really like the design of this vacuum. It's quiet. It has 3 speed settings and the filters are washable. The canister is very easy to empty, but it is messy. Unfortunately, the canister actually has a dark tint (unlike the picture on the box) and you can't see the contents inside unless you hold it up to a window (which isn't useful). If you use the canister to clean a flat surface and the suction is blocked, the unit makes a high-pitched noise that none of my other vacuums have ever made. The materials are very cheap plastic. The worst is the hose. It's kind of stiff and flimsy. It has weak spots, kinks easily and probably won't hold up, but it can't be replaced because the wiring goes through it. The power head maneuvers very easily around corners, but when you pull it back on the carpet, it stops spinning and makes an unpleasant noise that feels cheap. The lack of a dedicated hardwood floor attachment is very disappointing. This vacuum picks stuff up on hard floors, but the plastic wheels are loud and it does not get into corners. I like a lot about this vacuum, but my concerns about the cheap hose make me uncertain as to whether I will keep it.
